Buttermilk distributed to devotees on Indrakeeladri in Vijayawada

Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Youth Welfare Association (APYWA) distributed butter milk sachets to devotees coming to the Durga temple to mark the Navaratri celebrations here on Saturday.

APYWA founder Farukh Shubli, association president Zakir Hussain and secretary Babu participated in the event. They distributed sachets to devotees stood in the queue line. The APYWA is trying to promote communal harmony among the people in the state and been conducting such activities regularly, said Farukh Shubli.

Speaking to reporters on the occasion, Shubli regretted that some parties had been trying to divide the people on the basis of religion and caste and creating problems in the society with divisive activities.
