Byreddy, YSRCP MLA to join TDP in Amaravati

Update: 2019-03-20 10:25 IST

Kurnool: The Kurnool district senior Congress leader Byreddy Rajasekhar Reddy is all set to join Telugu Desam Party on Wednesday.

It's said that along with him YSRCP sitting MLA Isaiah will be also joining the party. In 2014 elections Isaiah won as MLA from Nandikotkur Assembly constituency.

But for the coming elections, YSRCP has denied the ticket to him and declared Arthur's name as its MLA candidate. With this, it's said that Isaiah has seriously upset and decided to join TDP.

Byreddy and Isaiah will be meeting TDP chief and AP Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu at Praja Vedika in Undavalli, Amaravati on Wednesday.

After the meeting, they will be joining TDP in the presence of CM Naidu. It's said that by the joining of both the leaders the TDP will gain strength in Nandyal Lok Sabha segment, Nandikotkur, and Panyam Assembly constituency.

If this happens then it's going to be a big setback for the YSRCP. This time, Bandi Jayaraju is contesting as TDP MLA candidate from Nandikotkur Assembly constituency.
