Calculate expenditure with accuracy, officials told in Rajamahendravaram

Rajamahendravaram: Rajamahendravaram urban and rural assembly segments election expenditure observer Neeladri Das Gupta has directed the officials of excise, flying squad, video teams to observe the expenditure of contestants without fail.

Addressing them at Roads and Buildings guest house here on Tuesday, he said as per the directions of Election Commission (EC) the expenditure of the candidates should be calculated with accuracy and submitted to the higher ups.

He asked the officials of Excise and Prohibition department to put their effort to eradicate illicit liquor at the time of elections. All the officials on election duty should follow the guidelines strictly.

The flying squads and video teams should also watch the contestants during their meetings and rallies etc.
