Call to strengthen democracy by casting vote

Eluru: Social activist and MLC Ramu Suryarao has called upon people to exercise their franchise in the elections to strengthen democracy. He flagged off a rally for awareness among voters on significance of vote at Government Hospital here on Monday.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that people should elect good candidates irrespective of religion, caste and creed for development of country. The voters should be careful in electing their candidates and always opt for genuine candidates who have commitment to their duty and service nature.

Only such candidates can provide good governance, he added. The rally passed through R&B, ZP offices and Vijayvihar centre and ended at government hospital.
