Center can't stop World Bank funds to Amaravati: Yanamala

Amaravati: It's known that the World Bank has announced the financial aid over one billion dollars to the AP government.

Earlier, the World Bank which has given a shock to AP by stepping down from the Amaravati city project. But on Sunday evening it has declared good news to YS Jagan's government.

Speaking over this issue, former minister and TDP MLC Yanamala Rama Krishnudu has said that the center can't stop the World Bank funds to Amaravati.

He said with the support of YSRCP some people have complained to the World Bank on the Amaravati project. On this, the World Bank has urged the center that they will investigate the complaint.

Over this, the center has raised the objections on how can the World Bank, which is the outside agency of the country, can investigate here. With this, the World Bank has dropped from the Amaravati capital city project, Yanamala said.

He also said that CM YS Jagan has close links with the central government. In addition to it, Yanamala said if CM has the commitment over Amaravati, then he would have convinced the center.

He said the 2013 Act is the main reason for the raise of R&R in the Polavaram project. The Gujarat government has amended this Act. Yanamala said the land acquisition is going to be very difficult in the future.
