Central minister writes to Chandrababu, explains about the situation of Telugu engineers trapped in China
Union External Affairs Minister Jaishankar on Saturday wrote to TDP chief and state opposition leader Nara Chandrababu Naidu in return after the latter has written a letter on January 30 on the plight of 58 engineers who are trapped in Wuhan City, China.
Foreign Minister Jaishankar said in the letter stating that 56 out of 58 engineers were brought back to India on February 1. He said that all the 56 engineers are currently under special medical supervision."However, two engineers Annam Jyothi and Dontanchetti Satya Saikrishna were not allowed to board the flight on February 1 due to fever and cold," minister said.
Jaishankar said the two are currently located in Wuhan High-Tech Development Zone in China and Start-Opt Electronics Technology Company Limited in Optics Valley Industrial Park. Officials of the Embassy of India in Beijing said that they are in regular contact with them and their families. He said that Indian embassy have asked the officials in Wuhan to provide the treatment and release the health bulletin on regular basis.
Union Minister Jaishankar opined that they would provide information about two engineers at regular intervals.
