Centre extends reward of Rs. 344 crore to Andhra Pradesh for implementation of reforms

The Central government headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given a good news for Andhra Pradesh government by announcing reward for Andhra Pradesh The center said it was offering a reward for implementing three-quarters of the civil service reforms where Andhra Pradesh has been at the forefront of implementing the reforms of the One Nation-One Ration Card, Ease of Doing Business, urban and local organisations.

As part of the reward, the centre will provide a total of Rs. 1004 crore reward. Of this, Andhra Pradesh's share is of Rs 344 crore while Madhya Pradesh's share is Rs 660 crore. Only Andhra Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh has got this opportunity. The aid to the financially distressed Andhra Pradesh government is a big boon. The award was given to two states in the country.

The reward be given to those states which implement three out of four reforms such as One Nation One Ration Card, Ease of doing Business Reform, Urban Local Body/Utility Reform and Power Sector Reform.
