Chandrababu appoints in charge for Chirala ahead of Karanam Balaram exit from TDP

It is known that the TDP senior leader and Chirala MLA Karanam Balaram is all set to join the YSRCP. He also made an official statement to this extent. Karanam along with a large number of his followers and activists headed to the Jagan camp office in Amaravati.

After announcing his joining the YCP, TDP chief and former CM Chandrababu convened an emergency meeting with Party leaders from Prakasam and discussed the political developments in the district. Meanwhile, Naidu appointed Yadam Balaji as the in-charge of Chirala constituency. TDP Media Committee co-ordinator Darepani Narendra Babu released a statement to this effect.

The statement reads Yadam Balaji has been appointed as the in-charge as Chirala constituency on the orders of TDP national leaders Nara Chandrababu, state president Kala Venkatrao said in a statement.

Earlier, MLA Karanam Balarama Krishnamurthy announced that he is joining the ruling YSR Congress Party, just for the sake of development of the poor and backward people in the constituency, Chirala. He said that he is joining YSR Congress Party at 3 PM in the afternoon on Thursday and will explain the more reasons for joining YSRCP at the Tadepalli office.
