Chandrababu condemns attack on TDP MLA, says YSRCP of creating havoc in state
Amaravati: TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu on Monday slammed the YSRCP Government for the unchecked and rising number of violations of Constitutional institutions and fundamental rights of citizens despite cautionary strictures from the courts.
The TDP chief condemned the attack on his party MLA Velagapudi Ramakrishna Babu, saying that the YSRCP goondas have pelted stones at the Visakhapatnam East MLA and party leaders. The TDP MLA was being prevented from laying foundation stones for developmental activities in his constituency. The YSRCP goondas were creating havoc and committing more and more offences each day.
Naidu asked whether the opposition MLAs have no right even to launch CC road works in their segments. The YSRCP was trampling upon the fundamental rights of all sections of people and the long-standing democratic systems were being disrupted deliberately. Now, even the rights of legislators were being denied. Since coming to power, Jagan Reddy rule has been attacking and weakening the legislature, executive, judiciary and also the fourth estate.
Terming the attacks as heinous, Naidu demanded that best medical care should be provided to the injured TDP activists. He also demanded the police to take stern action against the guilty persons. The TDP would not be cowed down by such cowardly acts of violence by the ruling party leaders. All sections of people are condemning the YSRCP rowdyism and anti-social activities.
