Chandrababu Naidu begins Praja Chaitanya Yatra from Parchuru

Parchuru: The former chief minister and Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Babu Naidu started the Praja Chaitanya Yatra from Boppudi village in Parchuru assembly constituency on Wednesday. The opposition party in the AP assembly announced that it wants to create awareness on the anti-people ruling by the YSR Congress Party and the monarchy decisions of the chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in the past nine months.

The TDP has already distributed pamphlets, pasted posters and banners in the Parchuru assembly constituency alleging that the YSRCP government has canceled 9 programs and schemes including Anna Canteens, free sand, Ramzan Tofa, loan waiver to farmers, BC corporation loans, Kapu reservations and loans, unemployment allowance, Chandranna Bima, Amaravati and Polavaram works.

They also accused that the Jagan Mohan Reddy government has put a burden on public in the form of prices of sand, cement bags, electricity charges, RTC charges, petrol and diesel prices, PG fees in universities, onions and commodities, liquor price and a loan of Rs 47000 crore in the last nine months.

The pamphlets also explain that the YSRCP government has cheated SC ST BCs in the name of pensioners by removing 4.80 lakh pensions, 18 lakh ration cards, reduction in number of auto drivers from 6 lakh to 80000, reduction of Raitu Bharosa beneficiaries from Rs 13500 to Rs 7500, implementation of Amma Vodi to just 43 lakh instead of 80 lakh mothers. They also alleged the investments are going back due to the negligence.

Earlier, the local MLA Eluri Sambasiva Rao, TDP district president Damacharla Janardhana Rao, former minister Sidda Raghavarao, Chirala MLA Karanam Balarama Krishnamurthy, TDP organizing secretary Dr Nukasani Balaji, Bapatla former MP Sriram Malyadri and other leaders received Chandrababu Naidu at Boppudi. He offered prayers at the local Anjaneya Swami temple and blown the conch, indicating the fight with the ruling party. He will speak to the public from the bus at Martur in Parchuru, Medarametla in Addanki, Maddipadu in Santhanuthalapadu assembly constituencies before ending the tour in the district with a public meeting at Ongole in the night.
