Chandrababu Naidu consoles Padma's kin, offers support

Chinaganjam: The Telugu Desam Party president Nara Chandrababu Naidu consoled the family members of the Basamgari Padmavathi in Rudramambapuram, in Motupalli panchayat of Chinaganjam Mandal this afternoon. Padma is a TDP activist but committed suicide after allegedly the YSR Congress party workers brutally attacked by stripping her nude on June 25.

The family members of Padmavathi, including her husband Brahmaiah, children Karthik, Varun and her mother-in-law wept uncontrollably as the TDP supremo enters their house. Chandrababu Naidu paid respects to Padma by garlanding her photograph and consoled the family of the TDP worker. He said that the party will support their family by all means and assured that he is there for any favour required in future. He said that the death of Padmavathi is a great loss to the party as a leader and asked the cadre to be brave enough to fight YSRCP in court of law.

Earlier, the TDP president was welcomed at Annambotlavari Palem by the TDP leaders in the Prakasam district including Chirala and Parchuru MLAs Karanam Balaram and Yeluri Sambasiva Rao and district party president Damacharla Janardhana Rao. He garlanded the statues of NT Ramarao at Timmaraju Palem, Parchuru and reached Inkollu through Nuthalapadu, Vankayalapadu, Pusapadu crossroad and Daggubadu. After lunch, he reached Rudramambapuram via Kadavakuduru, Erra Gate and Motupalli. The people and TDP workers raised slogans in support of Chandrababu Naidu and TDP and the party president announced them to not worry and the party will take care of their issues.
