Guntur: TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu who came from Hyderabad directly to Guntur to call on his former Cabinet colleague and party deputy floor leader in the state Assembly K Atchannaidu was denied permission by the police to visit him. The hospital authorities informed that he should take prior permission from the court. Later, Naidu spoke to GGH superintendent Dr K Sudhakar and enquired about health condition of Atchannaidu.
Speaking to media later, Naidu said that the police scaled the compound wall of Atchnnaidu house and jumped inside for arresting him. He said that though Atchannaidu informed that he had undergone surgery for fissures, the police did not take his request into consideration.
He said that this clearly showed that the YSRCP government was indulging in vindictive politics. Alleging that the YSRCP government was violating the Constitution, he said that Atchannaidu had been striving for people's welfare for the last 35 years. He alleged that YSRCP government had created false documents and arrested him. Naidu said that the TDP would place facts before the people soon.
