Chandrababu Naidu exploiting 'Save Amaravati' for sake of TDP leaders, realtors: Mekathoti Sucharita
Guntur: Home Minister Mekathoti Sucharita said TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu was exploiting 'Save Amaravati' agitation to ensure that TDP leaders and realtors are benefited.
She made it clear that the agitation is not meant for the benefit of the farmers who gave their lands for the construction of capital. She criticised Naidu for trying to globalise the agitation being carried out by a few farmers in Amaravati region for his political mileage.
Addressing media in Guntur city on Saturday, she said Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy is making arrangements to distribute house sites to 54,000 homeless poor in Amaravati region soon. She said Naidu could not digest it. She further said while the Chief Minister was trying to develop three regions in the State, Naidu was opposing it. She advised Naidu to ponder what he did for the construction of the State capital during his five-year tenure. She asked the TDP leader to stop indulging in gimmicks. She said that Naidu had failed to develop Rayalaseema region also.
