Chandrababu Naidu questions purpose of YS Jagan's Delhi visits
Amaravati: TDP national president and former chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday demanded Chief Minister YS Jagan mohan Reddy to explain to the people of Andhra Pradesh whether his Delhi visits were aimed at protecting himself from his cases or for protecting the state's interests.
Naidu asked what the Chief Minister had achieved for AP out of his visits to the national capital for over 10 times. The Chief Minister spoke loudly of bending the necks of the Centre at that time but now he was prostrating in Delhi for his own selfish interests.
Addressing a video conference with party leaders of Rajahmundry parliamentary constituency, the TDP chief said that the Chief Minister failed to bring Central funds for the Visakhapatnam Railway Zone and could not take forward the Vizag-Chennai Industrial Corridor (VCIC) or the Bangalore Chennai Industrial Corridor (BCIC). The CM did not care about the Petroleum Complex and also did not try to recover the first year's revenue deficit from the Centre.
The TDP chief accused the YSRCP of using the vaccination as a pretext to postpone the local body elections. False tweets were being posted in the name of starting coronavirus vaccinations from December 25. Only the TDP victory in Tirupati bypoll would be a fitting reply to the YSRCP atrocities he said and urging all the victimised BC, SC, ST and Muslim Minorities to unite to defeat the lawless, atrocious regime.
Naidu said that there was no end to the atrocities of the sand mafia under the YSRCP's maniacal regime. Sand mining under the river bridges was prohibited but the Jagan Mohan Reddy government gave permissions for sand mining under the Rajahmundry bridge. Multiple scams were being committed in each scheme, including free houses, he alleged.
