Chandrababu Naidu wishes Rajini on new party plans

Amaravati: TDP chief and former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday welcomed actor and aspiring politician Rajinikanth into politics.

Naidu said that the actor was a good friend of his. "In a democracy, it is common that new parties enter the political scene. Anyone can form a party. Rajnikant is a good friend. I wish him all the best," he said.

Replying to a query at a media conference, the TDP chief said that the YSRCP was running an atrocious regime in Andhra Pradesh by destroying the State and pushing it into deep debts and economic crisis. The Jagan Reddy government would not stay for long. Once the Jamili elections are announced, the YSRCP would lose power in Andhra Pradesh in a matter of just two years, he said.
