Chandrababu Naidu writes to LG Polymers victims, to hand over Rs. 50,000 to kin of deceased
Amaravati: Expressing solidity and consoling the victims in the LG Polymers gas leak tragedy, which claimed at least 15 lives and hundreds suffered with health complications, the TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu wrote personal letters to each deceased family members urging them to accept the Rs 50,000 financial assistance from the party, on Monday. He said that though he wished to meet them directly, the YSRCP government didn't allow him and even cancelled the flights on the day when his visit to Vizag was scheduled. He said that the party will be with the victims until the justice ensued.

Last month, 15 people died when a styrene gas leaked from LG Polymers near Venkatapuram, Visakhapatnam, left hundreds injured. All of them were discharged after treatment in hospitals. But some of them have health problems. Hundreds of cattle and birds lost their lives due to poisonous gas.
