Chandrababu responds over mysterious illness in Eluru, terms it as irresponsibility of government

Former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh and TDP national president Chandrababu Naidu expressed concern that hundreds of people were suffering from serious illness in Eluru. He also criticized the Jagan government for not providing safe drinking water to the people. He alleged that the government's irresponsibility is responsible for the pollution of drinking water and that the lives of the people seem to be miserable. Earlier, TDP national general secretary Lokesh had responded to the same issue. It has been criticized that people have fallen ill due to government negligence.

The situation in Eluru is not so bad even for the medical authorities. On the one hand, some are recovering and discharging, while others are being hospitalized due to severe illness. With this, the vigilant government has set up camps and control rooms in the respective areas under the auspices of the Eluru Municipal Corporation and the authorities are reviewed the latest situation. So far 140 people have been discharged. As of this morning, 40 people have been admitted to Eluru Government Hospital and another 60 to other private hospitals due to illness.

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy inquired about the Eluru incident over the phone. Deputy CM, Health Minister Alla Nani briefed CM Jagan on the current situation and details of the victims. CM YS Jagan especially lauded Minister Nani for responding in a timely manner and taking precautionary measures to provide better treatment to the victims. CM Jagan lauded the performance of the medical team, district administration and officers at Eluru Government Hospital.
