Chandrababu seeks referendum on three capitals, says will resign if people vote against Amaravati
Former chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu who participated in Amaravati Jana Bheri meeting on Thursday has questioned the YSRCP government what they have been doing since 15 months when they allege the TDP of insider trading in the capital Amaravati. He said that the Amravati movement was going on in a way that would be remembered in history. Chandrababu spoke at the 'Amaravati Jana Bheri' public meeting held in Rayapudi on the occasion of one year for Amaravati movement today.
On this occasion, Chandrababu found fault with the government for the way they are dealing with Amaravati agitation and challenged for a referendum on the subject of three capitals. He challenged that if the people voted for the three capitals, he would retire from politics permanently. On the other hand, Chandrababu alleged that the YSRCP government has resorted to insider trading in Visakhapatnam. He was outraged that the sacrificed farmers were treated as false and demanded to apologize farmers.
Chandrababu was incensed over the fake arrests of the TDP leaders and asserted that the police should remember that governments are not permanent. He fumed at the government for filing SC and ST atrocity cases being filed against them.
