Chandrababu slams govt over hike in power charges, asks will common man able to pay
Former chief minister and TDP national president Nara Chandrababu Naidu who was furious over YSRCP government has questioned how could it hike the power charges when the people are facing hardships amid lockdown. "While the poor and middle class people are suffering financially due to the lockdown, it is unfair to impose hefty bills on them, by increasing the tariffs, rather than by laying down" Naidu tweeted.
(2/2)#PowerBillShocksAP

He said that it was the failure of the government, which promised the people saying there would be no increase in electricity tariffs. He demanded the cancellation of the electricity bills for three months.
While the TDP leaders are protesting, Chandrababu Naidu fired at govt in another tweet referring to the increased bills. He said that "people are at homes due to lockdown and there's been no work, no wages. Suddenly, AP Govt gives them this blown up bill generated through faulty slab systems. Can the common man pay? We demand govt to waive bills for the last 3 months and provide relief to people, " Naidu tweeted.
