Chandrababu's Viziangaram tour: Police deny permission for rally, while YSRCP to block Naidu
Former chief minister and TDP national President Chandrababu Naidu who will visit Vizianagaram on Thursday is likely to arrive in Visakhapatnam in the morning. In the meantime, the TDP leaders had sought permission from the police to hold a massive rally to welcome the party supremo.
The Visaka south MLA Ganesh has met the DCP 1 of Visakhapatnam to seek permission for the rally. However, the DCP 1 has expressed helplessness as the area doesn't fall in his jurisdiction and advised them to meet DCP2. The TDP cadre along women wing had met DCP 2 asked to meet commissioner RK Meena. After a long discussion, the commissioner has given permission by enforcing conditions. RK Meena has permitted only 50 people in the rally.
However, MLA Ganesh Kumar alleged the commissioner of acting on the lines of the ruling party. He said that they would hold a rally at any cost. Chandrababu who will arrive in Visakhapatnam will meet the poor in solidarity who lost their lands in land pooling.
On the other hand, the YSRCP party cadre has planned to block Chandrababu from entering the city. With these developments, it remains to be seen how Naidu's would go-ahead with his tour.
