Chief Minister Jagan held a review on roads and buildings department, says the sand shortage is a temporary problem

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, said that the supply of sand is increasing after the floods in the rivers had reduced. CM YS Jagan held a review meeting on Roads and Buildings on Monday. "Sand shortage is a temporary problem, which occurred due to the floods for the last 90 days." CM YS Jagan said. It is reported that out of 265 sand Reichs, 61 were working while others have stuck in floods.

CM YS Jagan recalled that for 90 days, the floods in rivers Krishna, Godavari, Vamsadhara, Nagavali and Penna were continuing. By the end of this month, sand shortage reportedly will be resolved. They have revealed that they are supplying sand without any corruption.

Guidelines were framed for the betterment of the poor. The govt has issued orders to hire those who could transport the sand for Rs.4.90 per km.
