Chief Minister keen on promoting qualitative education in govt colleges-Deputy CM

Kadapa: Deputy Chief Minister Amzadh Basha has said that chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is keen on giving top priority to the education and medical sectors in the interest of promoting qualitative education to the students pursuing studies in government colleges.

The Deputy CM who was in Kadapa for participating in the freshers day organized in government girls college here on Monday said students should utilize the opportunity properly as the government allocating funds in a big way equally to private educational institutions. He said that proposals were submitted to the government with Rs 5.50crores for providing infrastructure facilities in the college. He said and at the same time, students should feel more responsible in bringing good name to the college by achieving the best results.

He called upon the students to give valuable advises to the freshers instead of insulting them in the college. On this occasion, the deputy CM has presented the Rs 3,000 cash award to every 15 students sponsored by Malabar Gold company. College principal M.Surya Rao, former Principal Pitchaiah Chowdary Yogi Vemana University lecturer K.Mamatha and others were present.
