Chinna Srinu, mastermind behind YSRCP victory

Vizianagaram: After the thumping victory bagged by the YSR Congress, a leader, who played key role in this bumper success is recognised and got the name and fame from the both cadre and from state leadership too. Majji Srinivasa Rao popularly known as Chinna Srinu has played key role in winning all the 9 assembly constituencies including two MP seats (Araku and Vizianagaram).

Chinna Srinu a close relative of senior leader Botcha Satyanarayana, was given the responsibility of district coordinator of party during the elections. Even he played major role in district administration between 2004-14 during Congress regime and used to involve in administrative affairs along with party activities. Again, this time Srinivasarao proved himself by guiding the cadre including MLA candidates in strengthening the party. He has strong network and extensive contacts with hundreds of sarpanches, MPTCs and other leaders who work in village and mandal-level.

This time he did not contest from any one of the constituencies but taken care of all the nine Assembly constituencies. He organised logistic and moral support including rendering strategies. Especially he concentrated more on Bobbili, S Kota and Parvathipuram. He could change the equations in Bobbili constituency from where the minister RVSK Rangarao contested and could convince the Velama leaders to come towards his party.

Srinivas could pull out around 20 sarpanches from the clutches of Sujay from Badangi, Terlam and could attract the leaders like Chokkapu Lakshman Rao of R B Puram into YSRCP. Even he put his entire efforts at S Kota and united all the YSRCP leaders there and encouraged them to fight against K Lalitha Kumari. The collective efforts brought good result and K Srinivas became MLA first time from S Kota.

Apart from the two constituencies, Chinna Srinu concentrated on Parvathupuram and made A Jogarao as first time MLA. Speaking on the victory, Chinna Srinu stated "Our target is to win all the nine MLA seats in the district. We worked as per our leader YS Jaganmohan Reddy's instructions and got the blessings of voters.

We feel this victory has given utmost responsibility on us. We will work together and render better services to public." With his outstanding performance, Chinna Srinu grabbed the attention of Jagan and as per sources, Srinu will be made ZP Chairman.
