Chittoor: 339 petitions received during Spandana
Chittoor: Large number of people from various places in the district thronged the Collectorate here on Monday to submit their petitions pertaining to their grievances at Spandana programme.
District Collector N B Gupta received the representations from different sections of petitioners and instructed the officers to take immediate steps for redressal of their grievances within five days. As many as 339 petitioners submitted their grievances at Spandana programme in which 115 applications related to Revenue, 34 to Civil Supplies , 29 to DRDA and the remaining for Panchayat Raj , Medical , Agriculture , School Education , and other departments.
Joint Collector 2 V R Chandra Mouli, District Revenue Officer Vijayachander and others sorted out the grievances and uploaded for the concerned departments . In Call your Collector programme , 25 phone calls were receive for which the Collector directed the officials to solve the cases on priority basis.
Speaking on the occasion , District Collector said the district has won the second place in the state in the disbursement of YSR Kanuka pensions while Chittoor Municipal Corporation has stood in the first place. Mean while , Chittoor Municipal Commissioner C Obulesh has organised Spandana programme at his office.
