Chittoor: Act promptly on Spandana grievances, officials told

Chittoor: Joint Collector 2 V R Chandra Mouli instructed the officials to make success Spandana programme as per the directions of Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.

As District Collector N B Gupta was out of station, Joint Collector 2 Chandra Mouli attended for Spandana programme atCollectorate on Monday. DRO Vijayachander assisted him in addressing the grievances of the petitioners.

After the programme, Chandra Mouli reviewed the progress of Spandana programme along with the district officers.

The progress of the scheme is being evaluated bythe Chief Minister every week. Hence all the district officers should strictly complete their targets, he said.

Venkatachalam Naidu, District Farmers Union Chief submitted a representation to the Joint Collector 2 for taking steps to reopen Chittoor Cooperative Dairy as per the instructions of the Chief Minister.

It may be recalled that District Collector had submitted a report to the Chief Minister on the issue. Though it was raining, petitioners across the district have flooded to Collectorate to submit their applications.

Meanwhile, Chittoor SP S Senthi Kumar organised Spandana at District Police Office in which ASP Supraja and others were present.
