Chittoor: Make Mega Lok Adalat a success, District Judge Ravindra Babu asks advocates

Chittoor: Mega Lok Adalat will be held on December 14 in the district to clear long pending civil and criminal cases through mutual consent of both parties, says District Judge Ravindra Babu. As many as 2,779 cases are expected to come before the Lok Adalat through 29 benches across the district, he said.

Addressing a press conference here on Thursday, he said that all arrangements have been completed for the conduct of Maga Lok Adalat which will be covered Chittoor , Madanapalli, Tirupati, Punganur, Palamaner, Srikalahasti, Piler , Pakala, Satyavedu, Nagari, Voyalpadu, Puttur and Kuppam centres.

Mega Lok Adalats will be held throughout the country on December 14. The main objective of holding the mega lok adalat is to resolve the cases with out litigations. Cases relating 11 subjects would be tackled in the mega event " he added.

He hailed that Chittoor district has won the fifth place in the state in achieving amicable settlement between the parties. Police , Insurance , Banks, Transport and other departments will take part. He appealed to the advocates to take active part in the mega Lok Adalat and make it success.
