Chittoor: No shortage of funds for welfare of poor says Deputy CM K Narayanaswamy

Chittoor: Deputy Chief Minister K Narayanaswamy reiterated that all the developmental works would be continued in a transparent manner as per the assurances given in the election manifesto of YSRCP.

The Deputy Chief Minister participated in a series of works in his Gangadhar Nellore Assembly constituency on Sunday along with Panchayat Raj Minister P Ramachandra Reddy and MP N Reddappa.

He said the Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has committed to the welfare of poor, downtrodden and backward classes and there was no funds crunch for their upliftment.

Addressing a meeting at Samireddipalli village, Penumur mandal, he said that Asia Infrastructure Investment Bank has come forward to develop the roads in Gangadhar Nellore due to the initiatives taken by P Ramachandra Reddy. "With an outlay of Rs 80 crore of AIIB funding, 124 km stretch of roads were laid in GD Nellore, Veduru Kuppam and Penumur mandals.

Stage has been set to provide tap connections to each house within no time, he added.

Speaking in the meeting, Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy reiterated that no poor beneficiary would be left out without a house site in the state.

Over 30 lakh house sites would be distributed to the poor besides constructing 15 lakh houses as per the instructions of the CM. MP N Reddappa hailed Peddireddy for making efforts to the develop district on all aspects. RDO Renuka, DWMA PD Chandrasekhar and SE PR Amarnath Reddy were present.
