Tirupati: Chittoor TDP MP candidate Daggumalla Prasada Raosaid that he will work towards improve job opportunities for the unemployed youth.

He took part in the get-together meeting with AP IT employees along with Palamaner TDP MLA candidate and former minister N Amaranatha Reddy in Bengaluru on Sunday.

Speaking on the occasion, Prasada Rao said that it was TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu’s initiatives in the combined Andhra Pradesh which brought recognition on the IT front to Hyderabad leading to the establishment of several IT industries.

The IT industry has developed in the entire State and even industries like Kia have come to Andhra Pradesh providing employment to thousands of youth.

He felt that due to the prevailing circumstances in Andhra Pradesh, no company was showing interest to come to the State forcing the unemployed youth to go to the neighbouring Tamil Nadu, Bengaluru and other places in search of employment. The ruling YSRCP’s policies have led to the closure of several industrial establishments while some others have fled to other States. This has become a huge setback to the fortunes of the engineering graduates in particular. Prasada Rao believed that only if Naidu becomes the Chief Minister again, the IT sector will regain its lost glory.

The State needs visionary Chandrababu Naidu as CM for its bright future, he said.

Prasada Rao recalled that with the inspiration of Naidu only he resigned from his job and entered politics to serve the people. Appealing to the IT employees to work for the victory of NDA in the upcoming elections, he said his objective was to make Chittoor Lok Sabha constituency as a model in all sectors and provide employment opportunities to the youth.
