CID notice to Kanchikacherla agriculture market committee ex-chairman

Amaravati: CID officials have issued notices to TDP leader and former chairman of Kanchikacherla agriculture market committee Nannapaneni Lakshminarayana.

The Officials reached the residence of Lakshminarayana over the purchase of land in Amaravati capital region. His son-in-law D Srinivas Rao also served as the government advocate general during the TDP regime. With this, the CID has also issued search notice to his residence.

When the officials arrived for the raid, Lakshminarayana's family members were not available. With this, the police didn't allow anyone inside the house.

Apart from the real estate business, Lakshminarayana's son Sitaramaraju was the sub-contractor for the Polavaram project during the previous TDP government. The notices of CID has become a hot topic in state politics and TDP. Earlier, CBI officials have also issued notices to several TDP leaders.
