Vijayawada: Noted artist R Mallikarjuna Rao, Executive Director, Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (APTDC) drew acrylic paintings which depicted the life and achievements of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to mark his 69th birthday on Tuesday.

Bright acrylic colours were used to express the deep emotions, said Rao. It may be recalled that Narendra Modi was born on September 17, 1950 and rose to the top with the sheer dint of his hard work.

Rao said the paintings show that Narendra Modi chose politics to serve the people and not enjoy power and pelf. "He is the esteemed child of Bharath Matha. It is shown in blue indicating the soulful blessings of Bharat matha and red in the background showing the passion," he said.

The Prime Minister's leadership is as strong as the lion, as royal and as mighty as the elephant. The peacock symbolizes the confidence and the way he carries all of these with grace, he added. He said Narendra Modi was the strongest political leaders to emerge in recent times.
