Civic chief inspects sanitation works in Ongole

Ongole: The Ongole Municipal Corporation Commissioner, P Niranjan Reddy ordered the municipal officials to keep the municipality neat and clean and never compromise on sanitation.

He inspected various places in Ongole on Thursday and made suggestions to the field-level staff. The Commissioner inspected several drainages at Ananta Mallikharjuna Street, Kabadipalem, Kothapatnam fly- over, Agraharam Gate, Santhapet Saibaba Temple, KB Restaurant, Sanghamitra hospital and checked the roads behind Sarada Balakuteer, verified the e-Toilet at Kothapatnam flyover and visited the Anna Canteen.

He also directed the people grazing buffaloes to vacate the place as they are ruining the sanitation there. He interacted with the locals and sanitation workers and warned the officials of stringent action if they fail in following the instructions.

Municipal Engineer D Sundararami Reddy, deputy executive engineer Ganapathi, executive engineer Srinivasulu, sanitary inspector Babji and others accompanied the commissioner.
