Clothes distribution, blood donation mark CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's birthday in Kurnool
Kurnool: YSRCP Banaganapalle MLA Katasani Rami Reddy said that Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has fulfilled over 80 per cent of promises made to the people of state. Participating as chief guest in a mega blood donation camp organised on the occasion of Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy's birthday celebrations at MPDO office here on Monday, he said that Jagan Mohan Reddy has proved to be an able Chief Minister by launching several welfare schemes despite the state was facing financial crisis. Despite revenue deficit, he was handling the situation very effectively. His efficiency is being praised across the nation, he pointed out and added the welfare schemes introduced by the Chief Minister were adopted by the CMs of other states.
During his padayatra, he said Jagan Mohan Reddy has assured the people that he will render justice to all communities particularly downtrodden and backward. As assured almost all sections of people were availing benefits launched through various welfare schemes, he said. The Chief Minister has generated lakhs of jobs to unemployed youth by introducing ward secretariat system for first time in the state.
He further said earlier the pensioners have to wait for lengthy hours to get pension. But with the introducing of ward volunteers' system, the aged persons were getting pension at their doorstep on 1st of every month. During pandemic situation, free rice, dal and Bengal gram were supplied free of cost to every card holder. All welfare schemes launched by the government were benefiting all sections of people.
Renovation of government schools was also taken up under Naadu-Nedu scheme. The schools are being transformed on par with corporate schools and the medium of teaching was also in English, Katasani Rami Reddy said.
Prior to addressing the occasion, he inaugurated the mega blood donation camp. Earlier Katasani and others have cut the cake marking the 48th birthday celebrations of Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy. Around 250 members have participated in the mega blood donation camp and donated blood. He appealed the youth to come forward to donate blood. The MLA also distributed clothes to the sanitary workers.
