CM Chandrababu Naidu directs to constitute SIT to probe into death of Vivekananda Reddy
Amaravati: The Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has reacted on the sudden demise of YSRCP leader YS Vivekananda Reddy and ordered investigation by a Special Investigation Team, on Friday.
Chandrababu Naidu has interacted with the Director General of Police RP Thakur, Kadapa district Superintendent of Police, Intelligence officials and other higher officials on the issue, very immediately after the death gained political colour in the state.
While expressing the condolences to Vivekananda Reddy, Chandrababu Naidu maintained that he served as a minister, lawmaker and gained public faith in his domain. He said that it was a shocking news for him to know about the death of the leader.
After constituting the SIT, he directed the DGP to probe the case impartially and ensure stringent punishments to the criminals, whoever so they are.
