CM Chandrababu Naidu Seeks Support for Revival of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu recently met with the Hon'ble Union Minister of Heavy Industries and Steel, Shri H.D. Kumaraswamy, to discuss the revival and strengthening of the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant. The meeting focused on securing the necessary support from the central government to ensure the plant’s sustainability and enhance its role in Andhra Pradesh's industrial growth.

In the meeting, CM Naidu emphasized the vital importance of the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant not only for the region’s industrial future but also for national steel production. The Chief Minister requested that the Union Government provide essential support to safeguard the plant’s future and maximize its contribution to both local employment and economic growth in the state.
