CM committed to develop education system in State: Dy CM
Chittoor: Deputy Chief Minister K Narayana Swamy said that Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy is committed to develop education system in the state by introducing number of schemes. Chief Minister has created employment opportunities to youth and it is a record in the country, he said.
The Deputy Chief Minister participated as a chief guest at a function held at Gangadhar Nellore, his constituency on Tuesday. Addressing the gathering, he reiterated that Government schools are performing excellently and competing with corporate educational institutions.
The government is taking measures to provide facilities at the schools. Ammavodi scheme will come in to force from January 26,2020 onwards, he said and added that each mother will be given Rs.15000 per year under the scheme.
The scheme is applicable for private schools also' he stated. He stressed that parent should invariably admit their children in Government schools only. He regretted that opposition parties are confined to criticise the Government for their political advantage. He said that there was no funds crunch for mitigating the drinking water schemes. Bhavani,Tahsildar, MPDO Sridevi ,MEO Rajendra Prasad and mandal YCP leaders were present.
