CM encouraging defections: Devineni Uma Maheswara
Vijayawada: Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is worried over the party's future though he has 151 MLAs, said former Minister Devineni Uma Maheswara Rao.
Speaking to mediapersons here on Saturday, he pointed out that Jagan was facing CBI cases. "Now the Chief Minister is encouraging defections acting against his previous announcements. Jagan is making plans to divert the people's attention from sand and cement scams," he alleged.
Meanwhile, TDP leaders Konakalla Narayana, Kollu Ravindra, Varla Ramaiah, B Arjunudu, Nallagatla Swamidas and Gadde Anuradha took strong objection to the comments made by MLA V Vamsi Mohan against TDP MLC YVB Rajendra Prasad. They said that Vamsi criticised the TDP MLC following the directions of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
They said that the State government was making plans to divert the people's attention from their problems. They wondered as to how MLA Vamsi used unParliamentary language against MLC Rajendra Prasad while in Ayyappa Deeksha.
They said that the MLA abused the TDP MLC with a view to damage the Hindu sentiments following the instructions of the top leadership of YSR Congress. They also questioned Vamsi Mohan as to why he planned to join the YSR Congress though the State government filed false cases against him.
The people of the State would understand the credibility of Vamsi, they commented. "The mean comments of MLA Vamsi Mohan are a shame to the democracy," they said. The TDP leaders said that there was no need to worry about Vamsi's exit and the party could nurture many leaders.
