CM Jagan Mohan Reddy Held A Review Meeting on Heavy Rainfall: Assures 2000 Per Family
Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy who conducted ariel survey in the rain-affected areas of Kurnool district held a review meeting with the officials of the revenue and agriculture department. Jagan Mohan Reddy said that it is good sign of Rayalaseema for the adequate rainfall and thanked God for the same. In the Meeting, the chief minister asked officials to visit flood-affected areas and find out the amount of crops lost due to rains.
As per the primary report, Highest rainfall was recorded in 17 mandals where R&B and PR roads have been severely damaged, which led to the loss of 784 crores. In addition, over 31,000 hectares of cropland and 2000 hectares of horticultural crops were damaged.
The Cm said that his government in collaboration with TS govt have decided to join Godavari and Krishna to fetch the water to Rayalaseema and he also assured the flood-affected people that his govt will sanction 2000 for every family and the houses for all the families will be built.
