CM Jagan reviews on development of Pulivendula instructs officials to speed up the pending works
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Thursday conducted a review on the development of the Pulivendula area in YSR district. The meeting was held at the CM's camp office and was attended by Kadapa MP Avinash Reddy and top officials from various branches. CM YS Jagan asked the officials to understand the branch-wise activities.
He also reviewed educational institutions, medical institutions and irrigation works and Pulivendula Medical College Works. The officials have explained the progress of the works, the cost of funding and other aspects to the Chief Minister.
Jagan later instructed officials to map out food processing zones in villages, warehouses in zonal-wise and cold storages in parliamentary constituencies and asked to set up skill development centres in the same manner.
The authorities have been instructed to take action to fill the Gandikota and Chitravathi reservoirs. It is advised to take all measures in advance. The road from Mudanur to Kodikonda checkpoint is to be taken care of.
Officials have brought to the notice of CM YS Jagan that some farmers are interested in the cultivation of kharjura during this review. Responding to this, the Chief Minister ordered a study on the cultivation of kharjura.
CM Jagan also urged officials to take up the idea of establishing an institution in the field of veterinary and horticulture and asked to chalk out the plan in a week's time. The officials are also advised to focus on setting up a school that will provide world-class quality teaching.
