CM Jagan to launch YSR Arogya Asara scheme officially today in Guntur

Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is in the process of launching another program to provide relief to poor patients as part of the health scheme. YSR Arogya Asara will be launched on Monday at Guntur General Hospital. After the surgery, the patients are offered a maximum of Rs.225 per day or a maximum of Rs5,000 per month for the prescribed relaxation time. This is the first in India to offer this type of service to patients. The scheme was introduced by the CM with the intention that the family should not suffer financially if the family gets sick. 4.5 lakh people benefit from this.

Distribution of cheques on CM hands will be done at the event to be held at the Guntur government hospital, the patients who are receiving treatment in the health sector receive cheques from chief minister. Though the scheme has come into effect from December 1, it is formally launched on Monday. Patients' accounts are credited with money in 48-hour period of discharge from the hospital.

The government has issued guidelines for the use of 836 types of surgeries in 26 separate departments. The patient must provide bank account and Aadhaar card details at the time of discharge. If a bank account is not provided, the money is credited to a relative's bank account. The authorities have completed all arrangements in the wake of the Chief Minister's directive to ensure there are no hurdles.
