CM Jagan will inaugurate Grama Sachivalayalu system

Kakinada: The Chief Minister Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy will inaugurate `Grama Sachivalayalu' system, the brainchild of Mr Jagan, at Karapa on Wednesday. He will arrive Karapa by 10.30 am and unveil a Pylon for the programme by 10.50 am and go to Grama Sachivalayam Office at ZP High School Grounds and address the public in a meeting by 10.55 am. He will visit stalls arranged at meeting place and interaction with the village secretariat staff.

He will handover appointment orders along with ID Cards to one Cram Secretary and one Ward Secretary. The Class X student of Ramavaram Zilla Parishad High School Harshitha will give a presentation on Navartnam concept frame with 4 lakh pearls and a Class VI student Saikiran will exhibit 2,700 paper cuttings of Mr Jagan's Padayatra. Mr Jagan will take a pledge on plastic ban in the meeting.

The District Collector D.Muralidhar Reddy said that 30,558 volunteers out of 24,478 for Grama Sachivalayams and 5,980 in Ward Sachivalayams have been appointed for rendering services to 14,93,892 families, covering 52.86 lakhs population, out of which 13.14 lakhs in urban and 39.72 lakhs in rural population. He said that 1587 Urban and Grama Sachivalayam have been set up and one Ward Sachivalayam for every 4,000 population in urban areas and one Grama Sachivalayam for every 2,000 population in rural areas. He said that 13,640 functional assistants have been appointed in the district.
