CM keen to improve health in AP: Deputy CM Nani
Vijayawada: Deputy Chief Minister and Health Minister Alla Kalikrishna Srinivas (Nani) said that Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was keen to transform the state into Arogya Andhra Pradesh by improving the health conditions of the people.
He along with Tourism Minister M Srinivas Rao participated as chief guest at the first anniversary of Anu Institute of Neuro and Cardiac Science here on Friday. They inaugurated health show and blood donation camp.
Speaking on the occasion Alla Nani said that the government was taking measures to provide corporate hospital treatment to the poor under Dr YSR Arogya Sri scheme. The government has been implementing YSR Kanti Velugu to make AP a blind-free state in phased manner.
Hospital CEO Dr Ramesh, Dr T Naveen, Dr Balabalaji, Dr N Anil Kumar, Dr Sridevi, Dr Kiran Kumar and others were present.
