CM YS Jagan aims to protect health of 5 cr people in Andhra Pradesh: Minister Gummanur Jayaram

Kurnool: Minister of Labour Gummanur Jayaram stated that with the aim of protecting the health of 5 crore people in the pandemic situation, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has launched 108 and 104 ambulances and has sent them to all districts across the state. He along with District Collector, G Veera Pandiyan, MPs and MLAs, flagged off 87 ambulances (108 ambulances 33 and 104 ambulances 54) and two neonatals from STBC College grounds here on Thursday.

Addressing media persons, Jayaram said the Chief Minister YS Jagan is giving more importance to public health and has launched 1088 ambulances in Vijayawada. The ambulances are well equipped with the latest technology and were sent to all mandals across the state. All states are getting inspiration after seeing the developments in Andhra Pradesh, he said.

Kurnool MP S Sanjeev Kumar said in pandemic situations only the medical sector is rendering quality services to people. Proposals for developing the government general hospital with an out lay of Rs.650 crores have been prepared. He asserted that YSR clinics are likely to start at every village. Besides clinics the government is planning to set up Yoga and meditation centres, said Sanjeev Kumar.

Kurnool MLA MA Hafeez Khan said the 108 and 104 ambulances play a vital role in saving people's lives.

Panyam MLA, Katasani Rambhupal Reddy said the ambulances have restored their lost glory. Nandikotkur MLA, T Arthur said the Chief Minister has fulfilled 90 percent of promises given to the people during his Padayatra. Pathikonda MLA, Kangati Sri Devi also spoke on the occasion.
