CM YS Jagan conducts review on Nadu-Nedu program, says aye for teacher' transfers

Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has given the green signal for teacher transfers in Andhra Pradesh. He directed the authorities to ensure that the transfers be done in a transparent online manner. CM Jagan suggested that transfers should be made after the 10th class examinations and issued the directives to the authorities at a review meeting at CM Camp office in Tadepalli on Wednesday.

He also said that transfers should be made based on the number of students and also in the tribal areas without any shortage of teachers.

Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy conducted a review on the education department. He had inspected the facilities that will be set up in schools as part of Nadu- Nedu program. Later, the Education Minister, Adimulapu Suresh, told the media that the Nadu- Nedu program will remain as history in the country.

He said that by the end of July the infrastructure works will be completed in all schools. In the first phase, we are providing 15,700 infrastructures under Ned-Nedu. The tenders for Nadu-Nedu program have already been completed, the minister said
