CM YS Jagan directs officials to speed up the re-survey of lands in state

Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has directed officials to start a comprehensive land survey without delay and survey it in three phases. CM Jagan conducted a review at his camp office on land re-survey of revenue department. The meeting was attended by Chief Minister's Chief Advisor Ajay Kallam, Land and Endowments Principal Secretary
Usha Rani
and others. "This is a very important project," he said. He said that all the mandals should be surveyed and mark the boundaries at the expense of government. The Chief Minister has explained the steps taken for a comprehensive land survey.

"We will conduct surveys within the village ministries; mobile courts will be set up to resolve any disputes during the survey," he said. Officials told the CM that mobile courts would run at the level of deputy collectors and this would result in the purging of records. The officials further said that the survey details will be digitally stored and will be fully encrypted. The data will be stored in one place and three to four places so that no one can manipulate it.

He also said that land sales and transfers of documents would be made easy. Meanwhile, officials briefed CM YS Jagan about the usage of cars network system for the comprehensive land survey.
