CM YS Jagan launches APCOS for the welfare of outsourcing employees
The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has fulfilled yet another promise of setting up Andhra Pradesh Corporation for Outsourced Services (APCOS) on Friday. The APCOS was launched via video conferencing from the CM camp office in Tadepalli. The corporation has been set free from corruption and irregularities in the recruitment of jobs. Over 50 thousand people have been handed over recruitment order. Later, Chief Minister Jagan had a chat with the employees who got contract jobs.
The chief minister said that he had seen the hardships of contract employees during padayatra. The corporation was formed with the intention of completely changing the situation. "Women also get 50 per cent jobs; we want to ensure transparency in the workplace without any corruption and currently have issued orders to 50,449 contract employees," CM Jagan said.
This number will be increased in the coming days. Jagan says there is no scope for job recommendations and contract workers are guaranteed with full security. On the other hand, contract employees have expressed their happiness over the launch of APCOS.
