CM YS Jagan launches "Jagananna Chedodu" scheme, disburses Rs. 10,000 to beneficiaries
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, who has been implementing welfare schemes for the betterment of the poor, has embarked on another scheme. He launched the Jagananna Chedodu scheme on Wednesday. At the camp office, cash was deposited in beneficiaries' bank accounts by pressing a computer button. A total of 2.47 lakh beneficiaries will be credited with this scheme and Rs. 10,000 to Nayi Brahmins, Laundry men and Tailors as a financial aid.
Speaking after the launch of the scheme, Chief Minister YS Jagan said that the scheme has been launched for the men who work only for themselves. He reiterated that every word in the Manifesto is meant to be a bible, Quaran and Bhagavathgeetha. In the words given, the scheme is being applied to eligible Nayi Brahmins, laundry men and Tailors. The eligibility criteria are selected through the village volunteers. "It is their government's intention to provide for everyone," he said. Welfare schemes are implemented irrespective of castes, religions and politics.
He said 3.58 crore people were benefitted with welfare schemes such as Amma Vodi, Vidya , Vahanamitra, Netanna Nestam, Jagananna Chedodu, Arogya Sree, zero interest, etc. He expressed confidence that the program of distribution of house site pattas to the poor would create history in the state. CM Jagan said he would fulfill every word spoken in Padayatra.
