CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy announces Rs 5L ex gratia to kin of Yerraguntla victims

Kurnool: District Collector G Veera Pandiyan said the government has announced ex gratia of Rs 5 lakh to the kin of the deceased, in the accident that occurred at Yerraguntla village on Tuesday early morning. In a press release on Wednesday, the collector said 4 children died and 15 persons were injured in the accident that occurred at Yerraguntla village on Tuesday early morning.

He said Chief Minster YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, who was upset over the ghastly accident, has immediately announced ex gratia of Rs 5 lakh to the kin of deceased and another Rs 50,000 to those who received severe injuries. The collector also stated the government would bear the expenses incurred by the victims. The Chief Minister also assured that the government will always standby the victims, stated District Collector G Veera Pandiyan.
