CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy pushing State into a financial mess: Gorantla Buchaiah Chowdary
Rajamahendravaram: TDP Rajamahendravaram rural MLA Gorantla Buchaiah Chowdary here on Tuesday said the development of the State was hampered because of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's anti people policies. The state was pushed into financial crisis, he claimed.
Speaking to reporters at the Press Club here, the MLA said many companies are cancelling the MoUs signed during the TDP regime. The Chief Minister's attitude had led to this sorry state of affairs, he felt.
He said sand mafia was dictating terms to the government and Speaker Tammineni Sitaram's home turn, Amudalavalasa, was no exception. The leaders of Pulivendula were involved in sand and land scams. The officials kept mum, he said.
Liquor mafia is spreading its wings under the guise of liquor prohibition in the State. The Chief Minister had mortgaged the interests of the State to Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.
Moreover, the Chief Minister was not mounting pressure on Central government for special status because of the fear that the Union government would reopen cases against him.
The Navaratnalu had failed miserably. The Chief Minister shattered the dreams of the people in just seven months after coming to power, he said. TDP leaders V R Babu, MR Rao, P Srinivas and others were present.
