CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to visit Polavaram project on February 27

It is known the fact that the Megha Engineering company is going all out to complete the record high of 3.07 million cubic meters of concrete works of Polavaram in the next eight months. The company has hired as many as five thousand workers, along with the required engineering staff and sophisticated machinery to carry out the works to this extent. However, on the other hand, Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy is scheduled to review the project on the 27th of this month to give some directions to the officials on how to speed up the process.

Megha Engineering Infrastructures Limited (MEIL) has completed the construction of several projects in the country, including the prestigious Kaleshwaram, Handri-Neeva and Patiseema within the stipulated time. And now, the AP government and Megha company have set a plan to complete major reservoir work, especially the spillway, earth com rockfill dam, etc. by 2021 Kharif season.

The Megha engineering company also set up a few Milestones to be achieved in completing Polavaram projects. Against this backdrop, the company is expected to complete the concrete spillway works by June 2020. As part of this, they decided to complete the construction of pillars by the end of May and the bridges by August 2020. Other works, such as project coating, surface dressing and asphalt finishing, are set to be completed by August 2021.
