CM YS Jagan reviews on housing scheme decides to build 30 lakh houses in 4 years

Amaravati: After coming into the power, AP Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has implemented many welfare schemes like Rythu Bharosa, Amma Vodi, Vasathi Deevena.

Now, CM Ys Jagan is getting ready to fulfil the house dream of the poor by distributing more than 25 lakh house site pattas on Ugadi day. This house site patta distribution will be held on the Ugadi day by the CM.

On the other side, CM YS Jagan has decided to build 30 lakh houses for the poor across the state in the coming four years. Over this, CM has conducted a review meeting with Minister for Housing Cherukuvada Sriranganadha Raju, Principal Secretary (Housing) Ajay Jain and Municipal Administration, Urban Development secretary J Syamala Rao and other officials at Tadepalli camp office and took key decisions.

On this occasion, CM has directed the officials to make a plan to fulfil the house dream of poor by 2024. The house includes one bedroom, one kitchen, a veranda, and a toilet. CM YS Jagan has examined the model designs of the houses by the Housing department and suggested a few changes.

He said the colonies should have basic amenities like proper drainage system, water facility, electricity and saplings should also be planted. 4,500 engineers in the housing department and the newly-recruited 45,000 employees of village secretariats would be involved in the housing programme.
